We are hiring for a Plant & Tool Mechanic

​

This is a full-time workshop & mobile role for a Plant & Tool Mechanic at FNR Plant Hire Ltd in the Lewes, East Sussex Area.

 

The role involves cleaning, inspections, maintenance and repairs on a variety of Plant , Machinery and Tools consisting of 110v Electrical Tools, Petrol Engined Equipment, Tracked Excavators , Dumpers , Rollers, Forklift, etc ensuring they are in optimal working condition.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Proficiency in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing various plant equipment and tools

  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems

  • Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving to identify issues and implement solutions

  • Ability to work independently and part of a team and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach

  • Relevant certification or vocational training in plant and tool maintenance, pat testing (Pat Training can be arranged)

  • Full clean driving license class B. not essential could be of use Class C1, C1E, CE.
